A: Mershon Law offers a complimentary consultation. This consultation will last approximately 30 minutes. If you decide to proceed, Janie will make recommendations and walk you through her design suggestions to create the most appropriate estate planning documents for your needs. You can then expect:
- Document Design and Preparation – Janie will design your documents according to the specifications discussed in the initial consultation.
- Document Signing Meeting – The document signing meeting is the final stage of the process. At this time, Janie will review your documents with you. Once you approve, you will sign your documents, followed by notarization and/or witnessing as required by PA state law.
- Post-Signing – We encourage you to read your documents to confirm they meet your wishes. Janie recommends the collection and storage of important papers, including investments, insurance, deeds, personal documents, and even bills. This makes for an easy transition in all aspects of your life after you pass. Organizing this information ahead of time will make estate administration much simpler. With JMershon Law, you will go home with a binder that makes storing and finding your estate plan easy. It also includes an organizational system inside the binder to add all of your important information concerning accounts, investments, beneficiaries, memoranda, and countless other sections for important family health histories and the like.
